• Welcomed new Board Members

• Elected new Members to President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary

• Continued discussions regarding the Community Corner Project, 2024 expenses, 2025 projected expenses and income, and ways to increase dues collection and communication with OFT neighbors

• Hosted our second Annual Cookie Exchange!

January 2025

• New Board Officers onboarded and became familiar with Board Operations

• Rachel and Jason met with Patrick from Kinetic Recreation to discuss best location for Community Corner Project

• Jim and Rachel met with Cindy (accountant), to discuss more efficient ways to collect dues and report expenses

• Communications Committee discussed launch of a new website to increase communications within our neighborhood, promote upcoming events, and provide access to up to date reports and Annual Meeting information 

• Community Committee met to further discuss the Community Corner Project, related expenses, and timeline 

• Finance Committee met to review 2024 Expenses, projected income and expenses for 2025, and ways in which to reduce expenses specifically with grounds clean up and maintenance 

February 2025

• Launched our brand new website!!

• Held a Board Meeting on Tuesday February 11th, with each committee sharing updates

• E-mailed and mailed the End-of-Year 2024 Financial Report with a detailed explanation of dues collected, expenditures, and projected budget 

• Continued to pursue those households who still owed Annual Dues; collected over $12,000 from overdue accounts

March 2025

• Board Members will met with our landscaper, Troy Clogg to discuss OFT landscape needs and how we can best utilize or budget

• Rachel continued to build the neighborhood email list to help strengthen communications 

• An "Upcoming Events and News" email was sent to all members who provided their email​

April 2025

• Food Truck started this month on the 9th! Please see the Food Truck Page for the schedule of trucks!

• Elected Officials hosted the first Virtual Fireside Q & A! Neighbors were able to log on and ask questions. This was recorded and posted to the Home Page of our website. Please check out our Events Page for updates on upcoming events 

• Pursued bids from other landscape companies and closed on a contract with Ace Outdoor Services that saved us a minimum of $3,000

• Held a very successful Neighborhood Beautification Day on the 26th to clean up an area by the water wheel entrance

• Held a Board Meeting on Monday the 28th, with each committee sharing updates

May 2025

• Held a second Neighborhood Beautification Day on Sunday the 18th! We continued to tidy the area around the water wheel, and also worked on trees and debris in the common areas. 

• Purchased plants to beautify the water wheel area

June 2025

• Trails Committee held a Trails Clean Up Day on Saturday the 14th, to ensure safe and beautiful walking trails around our neighborhood

• Planted 13 new plants around the water wheel area! 

• Events Committee continued to plan our first ever Block Party! Scheduled for Friday, August 8th!

• Sent out a survey to gauge interest in a neighborhood-wide garage sale

• Sent out responses to survey questions and comments, please find it here if you missed it!

• Events Committee began planning the first ever Block Party!

July 2025

• S'mores and Sparklers was held at the Smoke Ring BBQ Food Truck on July 2nd

• Events Committee continued to plan and prepare for the Bock Party

• Delivered Block Party flyers to all neighbors in OFT​

• Collected donations for the Block Party in the way of an Amazon Wish List

August 2025

• Held the first ever Block Party with at least 100 neighbors in attendance! 

• Researched aeration systems for the water wheel pond and obtained quotes

• ​Met with Tim from Ace Outdoor Services to check-in and ensure high-quality maintenance of grounds and landscaping

• Held a subdivision-wide garage sale

September 2025

• Jason installed an aeration system in the water wheel pond to aid in reducing the muck and improve visual appeal

• ​Held the second Fireside Q & A, to give updates and neighbors a chance to ask questions

• Continued to treat the pond with wildlife-safe chemicals to reduce the amount of muck

• Finance Committee met to review current financial status and discuss budget and future projects

October 2025

• Held a Board Meeting on Tuesday October 14th, that was open to neighbors who were interested in learning more about the Board or thinking about joining in November

• Jason and Rachel held a Pumpkin Painting event for the littles of OFT!

• Held our Annual Halloween Boo Bash on Halloween prior to Trick-or-Treating!

November 2025

• Annual Meeting on Monday November 10th, 7pm, in Harrison Hall at The Hawk
